Plans............

Two weeks ago today, we visited my mother in law. My brother in law happened to call at the same time, and half an hour later, we were joined by his son with his baby daughter. To have four generations in the room was not unusual , it is a large family and there is always someone calling by .
My brother in law was sat next to me on the sofa, laughing and talking , telling us about his plans . He was happy, busy, full of life.

Two weeks later, I found myself sat on the same sofa, offering my condolences to my mother in law, an empty seat at the side of me.
Today,the room is the same, but everything has changed .
We are talking about him, making plans to honour his wishes , to say goodbye.
