Time to Tango
“It's not so much an afterlife” said Arthur, “more a sort of apres vie.”
It’s blowing a blizzard. The forecast is poor visibility all day, but the snow should stop before midday.
I head out solo and the going is beautiful, but it’s often impossible to see the contours of the pistes. Unexpected bumps can cause havoc with your style ;)
I meet Claire and Angus early afternoon. Megan has already called it a day. The visibility is getting better, but it’s getting really cold. The thermometer at the top of Peclet reads -19C. Still, we’re out till after four and there’s no frostbite - although some very red noses.
Claire and I head to Tango for an aperitif. Then back to the chalet for a French themed dinner: soupe à l’oignon, tartiflette, tarte tatin. Showing tonight: Argo - the extended cut. So much for après-ski.
