A welcome surprise!!

The snow was forecast, but I wasn't really expecting any... I got out for a walk with Marley in Plean Country Park - this is the south bing, my favorite bit. Often it's just a bleak scrappy woodland on reclaimed pit waste, but on days like today, or in summer when the tight heathery forest floor is a blaze of colour, it can be utterly beautiful..
