Canaletto at Greenwich

Well I'm pretty sure Canaletto painted Greenwich (yes, of course he did) and it must have looked much like this - without the wide-angle distortions at the sides. Had a fab day getting the cruise boat down river from the London Eye to Greenwich, looking round the Cutty Sark, the Painted Hall, the Chapel and some of the paintings and screaming kids in the Queen's House - and of course doing lots of giggling and a small amount (!) of cake eating. Met other friends in the train coming home and am now just about to eat supper.

Perfect Saturday, perfect late-birthday treat. Hope your days were as good. Phew, now where's that wine..
