Little Women

I have really enjoyed the BBC's production of "Lttle Women" which has been on tv this week. It was very true to the book and brought back memories. My edition is inscribed on the fly leaf as being a gift from an aunt in 1952. Books so soon after the war were cheaply produced but it has survived well. Sadly it has no dust jacket, that would have made a better blip.l I must read it again!
It has been a vile day with sleety rain. We have been stuck indoors with no company for too long, so we wrapped up and went out (by car) for lunch at "The Duke of Wellington", a new favourite of ours since they gave N such a happy event on his 80th birthday.
