Stafelalp

Weather changes are predicted almost every day. So today it was a crisp and cold but very sunny day with plenty of fresh snow. Temperatures started with -10° and never got above 0. Blue sky until late afternoon when clouds started to come in to announce the next change.

We walked up to Stafelalp to have a glass of local (Malans) white wine and to share a “Bündner Gerstensuppe” on the terrace. Only very few people made it up there in the cold. Most of the guest had done a ski tour early morning and were on their way back. So, super quiet and relaxing while the town Davos nearby is noisy and crowded at this time of the year. We nevertheless had to go there to do some food shopping for the coming few days.
