The Colour of Right
Evening all,
i do like wandering around a church for a moment of peace and quiet.
While i have not a religious bone in my body i find the absolute stillness very humbling and i love to marvel at the craftsmenship of the various 'trades' who have brought their different skills to bear.
The stonemasons, the carpenters and the glaziers who combine their skills in a less technological age to produce some marvels of architecture.
This is the church window (east one i think) of Tideswell, and the window represents the life of John the Baptist, its a beautiful window set within the splendour of a magnificent building.
All i need to do now is work out how to capture a decent photo of the whole window!!
night all.
