What a start!!!

To our morning. Early today we had a short, but sharp thunderstorm (at about 6.15 am) The rain was torrential again, and when Hubby went for the paper, he had to return home and change from walking shoes to wellies just to walk through some flood water at the bottom of our road. Anyway it did stop for a while, and I managed to get out with friends for a coffee, and this was the colour of the river on the way home. It was actually a muddy brown all over!!
