An excuse to write

My Christmas present from Mel was a particularly gorgeous Pilot Capless fountain pen. Seriously, it's a work of art, and just writes superbly. Good grief I'm turning into such a stationery whore....

Anyway, after successfully rediscovering my love of drawing in 2017, the plan for 2018 is to get writing some new poetry (and who knows, I may find an open mic night again). Probably not every day, but if I was to take the pen to work it'd likely get wrecked and/or stolen, so I need an excuse at home to write (yeah, okay, I'll be going back to some prose and the like as well).
