Snow at Midgehole

The promised snow duly arrived, and came down very heavily this morning.  This Blip is the scene at Newbridge, by the entrance to Hardcastle Crags.
A few families turned out with their sledges and enjoyed themselves in the adjoining fields - then the rain came and spoilt their fun.
It looks as though most of the snow will have gone by the morning.
