Mushroom coral and a clam...
The little clam arrived as a hitchhiker on a piece of live rock. It started about 3/8 of an inch long and is nearly an inch now. We had a pump failure earlier this week and it has been terrifying worrying about all my little friends who were put into jeopardy. So far we have lost 1 clown fish and some of the mushroom coral looks sick. We had had the fish for several years, so it was an emotional loss (there are only 6 fish in the 55 gallon tank). I am pleased that the clam seems to have survived as has his other clam buddy and all the snails and crabs.
The tank has many varieties of mushroom coral, including green, gold, orange and green with orange.
Today I give thanks for the day I was given, my roof, enough clean water that comes out of a tap to drink and run an aquarium so that I don't have to walk miles to get it or carry it home, and Helen the cat sitting on my lap to help me type.
