The horse...
...and the runner
Felt strange to have woken up this morning knowing I won't be racing the Langdale Horseshoe with dr and possibly other harriers as I was asked to do the Fell relays but the team was never formed.
So instead I decided to run and gallop over the magic moors and through the woods for as many miles as I had time for. Woke up at 3pm, had two large spoons of strong Greek honey and a Greek coffee (yes in Yorkshire I am but went for the Greek energy today), into my minimal running gear, minimal shoes, i wanted to be part of her all the way...as close as i could be to her, gorgeous Mother Nature of course.
like a warrior, galloped & ran over the moors & woods for 27 miles in the dark morning & my baby came to say hello! She gave me a big kiss and licked my face and said she is looking forward to full Luna in the sky again!
My muse was with me too, my mind chatterings intense and after the run my brainstorming was intense too. Ideas over loaded me and two of those were a local fell running society, more on this another time and a Halloween & Full moon run end of October...It couldn't be spookier!!
On another note I am writing the story of my Ilkley Art Trail adventure...hoping to finish it by Monday.
Now one with the water I ll become and...dream of dreams.
