This one is for Paul.

Anyone who has been hanging around here for a few years will have come across ASG. I was deeply saddened and shocked to hear that he is no longer with us and wanted to dedicate this photo to him.

Although we never met face to face, I have had many long chats with him over messenger whilst he was working in some foreign hell hole and we fixed a lot of stuff during those conversations.

He was a fantastic photographer who documented the plight of ordinary people in Afghanistan during its recent chaotic history and would often get news out of Kabul faster than the BBC!
More recently at home most of his blips included his beautiful daughter Poppy to whom he was devoted.

I'm not sure why guys like Paul have to die so young.....some things are just not right.
