Another fairly lazy morning, then Gerge and Justin’s house for a slice of cake and mug of hot chocolate. Probably the last time I’ll see them before they have a baby, so so weird.
In the afternoon we walked back to the same place as yesterday in the hope of finding the camera and to put up some better signs. We stopped so I could take this photo on the way back and as I unlocked my phone I saw messages from Gerge who’d seen a Facebook post about somebody finding a camera. A Christmas miracle!
Back to Bristol in the evening after a quick stop for pizza with my Diamonds in Reading. All four of us had a cold/chest infection of varying degrees but thankfully they seated us in the corner (maybe they could tell by our sullen complexions).
It was so lovely to catch up but looking back potentially a mistake - I couldn’t manage much food and the journey back to Bristol was such a struggle. I wheezed and sobbed my way home from the station (so glad it was dark and quiet) - the 10 minute walk felt about an hour long and my legs didn’t really want to work.
