The accidental finding

Sky Door

The Blackboy School (see my blip of two days ago) again, this time from the side, with a view over to Rodborough. It's definitely autumn now, and a short while before this blipshot it had been not only raining but hailing! However, by the time I ran down to town for some shopping 'n' blipping, it was all blue again, including the reflections in the door. I used to lounge around on this balcony on summer days with the smokers, when the Art College leased this building. I never see any smokers up there any more, but it's been converted into apartments now.

I've been trying to blip this little slice of view over Rodborough for a while, but there are too many power lines. Thus we have a weird crop, and mainlythe old school in this shot. If I had photoshop, I could add some scarlet potted geraniums to the balcony, but, you know what? I'd rather pot some geraniums, pop them up there, take a few shots, and then leave them there as an unusual gift. One of our favourite restaurants in the South of France is called Les Geraniums, but it is so long since we went there that I've forgotten the name of the town! Some little place in the hills with a church, and maybe a castle...

More happy memories! I can't seem to look at this rather austere building without being flooded with good 'uns.

Hope you all had a good Saturday, too.
