Pale Yellow & Purple Pink,

Slept pretty well last night despite being a bit blocked and sniffly. Just a head cold I think, dont feel bad, so hopefully it wont develope into anything more.

We walked into town this morning, grey but not so cold, although by the time we left Reds after a coffee and lunch, the wind had picked up and it did feel quite chilly walking home.
We bumped into our neighbours, they are both still suffering with the virus that got them before Christmas, so New Years Eve celebrations might be on hold :-/

Hubs done some leaf sweeping this afternoon, whilst Ive done some laundry and sorted out what we are going to have this evening.......roast beef dinner I think.

Just been pottering around looking for todays blip and settled on my orchid. It lives in the downstairs cloakroom all year, until its buds form, then it has its time in the limelight of the kitchen. It came into flower the week before we went to Tenerife for a month, that was the last week in October, and as you can see, it is still looking beautiful 65 days later....having dropped just one flower!!

We watched the film Dreamgirls on tv last night, what a great film, the music is just fab, incredible vocal performances, if you like the 60s tamla motown stuff, well worth a watch!
