Saw this . . .
. . . thought of this.
I must admit I thought it was an Ozzie phenomenon, gleaned from watching either "Ramsey St." OR "Neighbours"; apparently not.
"1. op shop(Noun)
A shop, usually operated by a charity, to which new or used goods are donated, for sale at a low price.
Origin: From contraction of opportunity + shop."
Wooden tit be nice if we KNEW which charity(s) operated them?
I was forced out of the house for a couple of items Sainsbury's didn't stock.
En route back to the car I spotted this; and since it'll probably be gone next time I'm down Angel Lane I thought "NO contest".
I wonder if "they" saw/remember our effort?
