Cu Chi Tunnels.

We had a visit to the Cu Chi Tunnels this morning with a Vietnamese guide who as a child had sought safety in the tunnels. My picture is of the guide. The tunnels were small and you had to bend double to move along them. They were hot and uncomfortable. It is amazing what the human body can cope with to survive.
There were horrific booby traps to injure and catch the American soldiers. A very sombre and. moving morning and I couldn't believe how many people were keen to fire machine guns and an AK47
