Super Saturday of Olympic Scale

Had a super day today. It's my birthday and knowing that J would be at work I thought today would be a bit of a write off. I didn't really mind as we were out last night for a meal, and the night before also. I'd thought I'd wanted to stay inside in my pjs today and lock the doors so that just me and the kids were inside but it didnt really turn out that way...thankfully.

M woke us at 5:40 and E followed shortly. They came into me with balloons and cards and big happy faces. Who could complain about the bloody awful hour with company like that.

I got to have a peaceful bath, a chat with my mum on the phone and a visit from J's dad.

My best pal came over with her kids after lunch and we went over to the woods for a couple of hours. Just in time for the torrential rain! It was super to be outdoors though and didnt mind the soaking one bit. I took some pics as I remember the images of me in the woods with my cousins at about the same age as my kids are now. All autumy and fresh.

After Shelley and her gang left my mum popped in, and then just after she left J rang to ask if we could pic him up from work. A quick dash to pizza hut and my busy happy day was done.

I have some great people in my life who leave me in a good mood after I see them.

Just watching qualifying now before bed.
