During the night the ferry took us to Hull. We arrived in Hull at eight o'clock. The weather was even better than we had hoped for. During the drive to Hope (Valley) we enjoyed the English landscape (York). After an hour we passed through the city center of Sheffield, it was fun. The hills were still covered with snow and the roads were liable to flooding. But with winter tyres it wasn't such a problem.
