The Lozarithm Lens

Dyrham Park

On this Wednesday I had been to the Calumet Open Day in Montpelier, which as you know has Blipfoto links, although I had the distinction of being the first Blipper to have attended. It was well worth the trip as not only did I meet a Sigma rep from my home town of Sutton Coldfield who told me how I could replace my lost lens hood at trade price, but I got the crop sensors of both my Pentax K-xes professionally cleaned in exchange for a donation to the local hospital. Meanwhile, Christiescruffs was exploring Ikea.

On the way back we had time to call in at Dyrham Park to see the deer. We were told where to find the young bucks and spotted the large group without difficulty. There had been a clash of antlers half an hour earlier but all was now peace and love, and we were able to watch them all for awhile at close quarters until they all suddenly took off.

Shortly afterwards we were dowsed by the torrential rain and hail that they had cunningly avoided and failed to tip us off about.
