Ghost village in Dorset

30/12/17 Out exploring The Ghost Village of Tyneham ~ Dorset, today...

In 1943 the residents of this village were given 28 days to leave their homes!! Then the Army took over!!

One day, they hoped they would return to their homes! Which sadly never happend.

The village now stands in ruin, all but the School and Church. Which have been restored. Also the K1 phone box which is a lovely feature!
