Garden lights
We had a quick look at the Railway Museum this morning - we had been before - where Daughter One and I had a short trip on a steam engine and brake van. In the distance, across the roof of a former engine shed, we spotted the top of Holgate Windmill, more of which later. We followed this up with a walk along the River Ouse, which flows through York, and a look at the Museum Gardens. We did a great deal more, but I'm hurrying to get these Blips on so I'm afraid that they're rather brief.
After dark, D1 and I went to the Museum Garden again and walked around the perimeter - they wanted £15 per head to see the lights! - and saw enough from the outside to satisfy us. This is one of the lit buildings and a lit-up tunnel of some sort.
