Annual Nativity Scene

I said last year that my nativity set was incomplete, lacking a couple of key characters so, throughout the year, I have been on the lookout for suitable candidates.

And Lo! they have arrived on the scene. On the left the Good Shepherd, who has brought the lost sheep (if you remember, last year he'd left one in the stable while he went looking) and, on the right at the back, we now have an ox - or maybe a Chinese Water Buffalo come with the Wise Men from the East - to keep the ass company.

Of course according to the story there should be more shepherds than this single one  - perhaps the others are waiting outside - we'll see what turns up in next years Flum Nativity Scene...possibly even a stable...
