Friendly goat
After watching the sunrise in the haar and a sit in the frozen garden with a cup of tea listening to the birds we went out for a walk.We intended to go to the Fairy Glen but it was still in the shade when we got there so decided to drive abit further. I really wanted a walk in the snow covered trees near Balblair but Mike did not fancy an icy walk so we went down to Udale bay.The tide was in , plenty of birds around, stunning blue skies and sea with white snow covered mountains beyond.Down to Newall Point where we spotted this Goat and another who came over to the gate to say hello. This one looked like a giraffe with it’s spotted fur. We walked along to the rusty boat graveyard. Cold but pleasant in the sunshine. Two wrens were displaying to each other, robins sang, a heron cried out and then flew and landed behind us.
We drive along the road to Culbo with fantastic views over the Cromarty Firth and beyond.
Next stop was Mount Eagle where I got my walk in the snow covered trees :)
