Roots in the woods

This is a two and a half minute exposure with f7.1 aperture. My son was behind the tree shooting the speedlight manually  aiming on the roots. The added light helped to make to colours pop, but the image has to may distractions. This could work better on a foggy day. Will continue to explore possibilities to use flash when shooting woodland.  We had overall beautiful light this morning with a nice yellow/pink sunrise.
