Growing

The weather hasn't improved but rather than remaining housebound we braved the driving rain and cold for a walk.

It certainly blew the cobwebs away!

We eventually found ourselves at the 5* West Bar in Falmouth, sat right by the fire we gradually warmed ourselves and enjoyed a couple of beers. Although these are the youngest of my two children they are great company, funny, witty and thoughtful. 
Joshua was explaining the last couple of days before he came home, practising FIBUA (Fighting In Built Up Areas) when Samantha chipped in about making paper mâché dolls during part of her course, genuine hoots of laughter and affection.

I feel very proud and fortunate but already not looking forward to their leaving in January.
