New Year's Eve means oliebollen !

The traditional Dutch sweet snacks for New Year's Eve are oliebollen, deep fried dough balls with or without a filling of raisins and apple. Wherever we've been in the world these past years, I've always baked them (or rather deep fried them) on New Year's Eve. And thus also today ! Here's to a happy and healthy 2018 for all of us, with of course plenty of photographic opportunities !  Have a great new Year's Eve !

I'm now off to prepare our own traditional midnight supper, but not before saying that I hope you don't mind waiting for the Abstract Thursday results until into the new year (tomorrow of course :-) )
