After the snow.

Had an enjoyable walk round the village in glorious sunshine, although as you can see in places the paths were under water.
However managed to walk round on the grass without getting my feet wet.
It has really been a lovely day and especially good to feel some warmth in the sun.
Have you noticed the days are gradually getting longer!

Looking forward to our celebratory meal tonight.
Roast stuffed partridges with festive stuffing,
red cabbage, sprouts and new potatoes.
Assorted cheeses.
Christmas pudding.
We have some lovely pink sweet Muscat de Beaumes de Venice left from Christmas Day, to have with the pudding.
Haven’t yet chosen a red to have with the partridge, but it will be another brought back from holiday.
