Orchid And Shadow

Rain nearly all day, a dreary sort of day to end the year on.  I have been playing around with different backgrounds and lighting on this Orchid which has come into flower in the past few days. I have put another couple of versions as extras.  I rather liked the main one for the shadow and wondered if it would fit for Nickimags888's Still Life challenge which I understand is open until the new year.
I hope it won't be raining where you are if you are going out tonight to celebrate New Year's Eve.  See you all in 2018.
