The National Wallace Monument.
After a very wet and windy morning, Storm Dylan blew itself away by lunch-time and MaggieD and I got out and about. We needed a few bits and pieces so nipped in to M&S, Dunblane to find the place jumping. We luckily found a parking spot and got round as quickly as possible. On our way out, we had a call from Andrew to find out where we were nice of him to check that we were ok but he also was looking for lunch. So it was back home for a cup of tea and a chat.
A little later, we were back out and the sun actually shone! So making use of the "golden hour" I looked to catch the low sun on the Ochils ("Awfuls" according to Eve) but then I saw this bit of rainbow next to the Wallace Monument.
If the weather holds we should be out into Stirling later for the Hogmanay fireworks display.
Have a very happy, healthy and prosperous 2018 blippers everywhere.
