Giant Moa

Another good day in Dunedin. Art gallery and then Otago Museum to see the fantastic South Sea Islanders exhibits. This skeleton of the now extinct Giant Moa was impressive. C is 5 foot 6, so the erect bird must have stood about eleven feet tall.
