Seeing out the year!

A cathartic and emotional day for Van Man and Poet Girl. I stayed home while they visited Grandma who is so very poorly. I put Christmas away, cooked and caught up on The Archers.

Once the youngest had headed out again, we sat and ate and put the world to rights. Not the planned NYE but actually, quite a lovely one.
