See You Later, Alligator

Goodbye, 2017!  On my FB page, I put:

2017 goals ALL achieved.
2017 problems ALL resolved.
Some quiet time now ...

But not for too long because, finally, after some relaxation together here at home, the cannons began to boom.

It's been a hard, hectic, suspenseful, and successful year ... although of course we had no idea how it would turn out.  As the year drew to a close, we hugged each other, danced, and laughed, candles, wine, and cheese on the table ... 'We're still here, and we're still together!  And that's what counts!'

A busy day finishing some things before the year was over -- leftover ironing, emptied the mailbox at the old house, supermarket errands.  Washed the old year out of my hair.  Hubby just made some fries and we had tea.  I'm happy we celebrated the end of the year at our new house.  We are truly home now.
