First Night Northampton

Each year  Northampton holds a "city-wide New Year's Eve party" (this one was the 33rd).  Great fun, except that this year temperatures were around zero degrees F (minus 18 C), factoring in the chill of a light wind. Marylee stayed home; I attended a juggling performance by our friend Henry (excellent as always), and a Klezmer band (made even more enjoyable by three youngsters (perhaps six years old) sitting nearby who danced vigorously with hands and arms to much of the music!  This blip shows the center of downtown (don't miss the holiday lights reflected in the car windshield).
