Mototapu Walk

New Years Day.  12 walkers turned up, we drove to the Mototapu River and walked upstream for about 4 k's, and had our lunch sitting under the willow trees.  (extra 1)  We walked over 15,000 steps, which is a total of just over 8 k's all up.  The second extra is of someone rock climbing on the other side of the river.  Rather him than me.  We had a cuppa at a local café on the way home.

It is a beautiful day, +27C, town is packed with holiday makers.
