Christmas Day

Today was Christmas Day for RF and I due to spending the day itself with our families.

I received some lovely presents and saw a lovely smile.

In the last few days we discussed some family traditions, one being sherry trifle and the differences between our recipes. I made an attempt at the RF version.

Later we went to friends for an early evening glass of fizz then dinner with a lovely couple I have not been out with before. We all had a very nice evening and I'm thankful to be accepted and welcomed into a new social circle.

All in all a great end to what turned out to be a rather special year, thank you RF.
