Motatapu River

Twelve of us set off along the Motatapu River Track this morning. It starts with some steep steps up from the road followed by some very steep steps down to the valley floor. The extra shows some of the group approaching the descent.
The main pic is where we had lunch. A pretty hot day but we were refreshed with a cool drink or coffee at a cafe on the way back.
