Happy New Year!

After our traditional meal out as an extended family on Hogmanay evening some of us - the Lancaster-based members of the family and I - went up to Stirling Castle for the Hogmanay entertainment and fireworks display.

This year's display was, by far, the best we've seen at the event - a truly spectacular way to bring in the New Year. So much so that, after a few initial shots on my camera and my phone, I put both away and just stood back to enjoy the pyrotechnics. Let's hope 2018 continues in the fantastic way it started.
