40+ years ago THE hot date dinner at and English Berni Inn was a prawn cocktail, steak and chips and a slice of Black Forest gateau washed down with a bottle of Mateus Rose.

I am a HUGE fan of the much maligned prawn cocktail doused in Marie Rose sauce.
Dinner with T tonight at our special go to place and prawn cocktail on the menu!
Looking just a tad`different but deliciously the same.
