Goodbye 2017! Hello 2018!

Typically, I begin every New Year with a sunrise.  However, this morning, I awoke to overcast skies and though it brightened, no fabulous sunrise.  I did like the look of the water, though (see extra). Perhaps a moonrise tonight with the super moon....

As I was already out, decided to continue on to see what was happening in the woods. I startled this duo when I came around a corner in the meadow.  I love those white plumes!  They did stop and watch me (see extra).  As it was -25 C, I didn't last out long.
