Final Brunch 2017

Our great neighbours/friends came over this morning for a cozy brunch. We had been trying to get together for the entire month of December and finally were able to align our schedules. Starting with mimosas, slipping in to mulled wine and nibbling through a great brunch while catching up. We adore this couple and rarely can fit in visits so this was special. We gave them an advent calendar from Davids Tea on December 1st....wherein each day/door is a diffetent tea -they absolutely loved it! After they toddled off we prepared the Christmas turkey, tucked it in the oven and settled down for a nap (as i have lost my battle with a terrible cold). We then enjoyed our belated and fabulous Christmas dinner (as we had spent Christmas in a hotel & went for Chinese food). Now my sweetie is happy, he loves the leftovers. We finished the perfect day curled up and watching the amazing movie '3 Billboards' - so very well done and well acted!
