oh yes it is. We have a lovely Greek daughter-in-law and she has introduced us to quite a few of their traditional foods. This cake is for cutting on New Year's Eve but it got overlooked and was cut today. Inside for some lucky person is a coin. Mudman who performed the slicing was the recipient.
The cake is quite light despite its bulky look.
