Counting down!

New Years eve broke bright and breezy.
We decided to go for a walk to try and clear our head colds a little, as we hadn't slept brilliantly.

On our way back we called on our neighbours to check how they were, feeling better they said and wanted to stick to our usual plans for this evening :-)

Tomato soup for lunch.....then a few hours tidying, dusting, hovering etc. and I planned a little snack for later on. I steam cleaned the kitchen floor using a product not used before, big mistake, had to go over it all again...and even now it still looks smeared :-/

We all had an enjoyable evening, catching up, in between the coughs sneezes and splutters, not too much was consumed, but enough to welcome in the New Year.

This is my champagne flute, with a raspberry, which I had just put down on the table, so I could grab my camera as we were literally counting down to midnight. I just grabbed a shot and it turned out to be the one I liked best :-)
