New Year's Walk

This morning turned out to be a dull, grey start to the New Year, but by the time Mum and I arrived home from a quick trip out to the shops it had brightened up, and there was even a hint of blue skies.

Leaving Mum in front of the TV in the warm I took a walk up to the army ranges, half hopeful of spotting the deer, but there was no sign of them.  The view across the ranges towards Woking was looking good in the mid-afternoon sun - once I had managed to manoeuvre the camera over the 6 foot high wire fence and under the barbed wire (see extra!)
