when she told me about the bump Kate told me all good grans make special baby blankets
(yes total emotional blackmail)

So on Christmas Eve I found this wonderful pattern link
I bought it & ordered some wool on line

Small snag I found out a friend of 48 years will be a first time gran a week after me (also in the USA)
OK I can make two can't I - in six months?

Anyway it was going to be a big surprise but during a Skype call last night Graham showed Kate so you will see my progress I guess!
