Not Quite a Full Moon

The nearly full moon looks really beautiful in the perfectly clear night sky, so I thought I would capture the moment whilst I could.   It will be full at 2.25am tomorrow morning.
Native Americans and medieval Europeans named the January full moon the Wolf Moon, after the howling of hungry wolves lamenting the midwinter  paucity of food.   Other names for this months full moon are the Ice Moon and the Old Moon
