Cinquante not out

I think I’m probably quite difficult to get presents for and the simple fact is, I think I’d rather not receive any. Maybe there is a name for such a condition.

The day was surprisingly spent at the excellent Gallery of Modern Art exhibition then dinner at a converted church where I used to play badminton.

In the evening my family came round to help me celebrate a half century, seriously how the blazes did that happen.

And given what I said earlier I don’t think Madame could have maniganced a better collective gift, ever.
