whiskey, a mince pie, and a carrot

It’s Marius’s first Christmas Eve! Pierre and I took him up to bed and we left out a glass of whiskey and a mince pie for Santa as well as a carrot for Rudolph. So exciting!

Pierre made a gorgeous dinner of oysters, gambas flambeed in Pastis, and lemon mousse for pud. Annie and Daniel are both here now so we all ate together along with my dad.

I’m so looking forward to tomorrow (got lots of veg prep done today).
