Girls day out

I met my mum in London for the day today so we could celebrate her birthday. We had a fun day. We ate at a Veggie place near Covent garden before walking down to Embankment to get a boat down to the Tate Britain where we had a wander round the odd and interesting Turner prize nominee exhibition! We pondered trying out the Boris bikes but couldn't work them out so we walked up to Trafalgar square. Mum was amazed by the lack of pigeons! We stood in the middle of a zombie walk which was a bit odd but quite normal for London! Then I escorted mum back to Kings Cross before saying good bye.
It was lovely to spend some special time with my mum. Happy Birthday mum!
